Stuff We Want to Take to Give Away

This is the current list of the things we'd like to take with us to donate to the two organizations that we are supporting:

Shore 2 Recover in Point Pleasant Beach
The Bucket Brigade in Ortley Beach.

You can learn more about these two great efforts on their Facebook pages, and S2R is also online at:   http://www.shore2recover.com/.

We're looking for donations of the following:

- Cleaning equipment (buckets, scrub brushes, etc.). They get used a lot and wear out quickly.
- New toys and books would be great. They have to be new, because the organizations are being monitored for "recycling junk".
- Work gloves, all types and sizes.
- Sun screen / sun block and sanitizer; in small / individual size bottles.
- Painting supplies (rollers, brushes, trays, tape, etc.)
- Contractor bags (There is still a lot of stuff to bag and throw out)
- Gas cards (WaWa or Sunoco). (A lot of homes and most work teams are still using generators.)
-      Bottled water
-      Men's jeans: any make, any style, sizes 34 and up.
-      Men's sneakers: any size.
-      Men's athletic shorts: (long and loose in the leg with elastic waist):  any style, any size
-      Non-perishable food: any kind
-      Kitchen wares (Anything you'd have in a basic kitchen, from spatulas to counter top appliances)

Items are being collected in the black bins in the Connection Point at:
King's Grant Presbyterian Church
745 Little Neck Road
Virginia Beach, VA 23452.

Cash and check donations (made payable to KGPC, with "Sandy Mission Trip" in the memo space) can be left with Donna Perry in the church office.

If you can help with any of this, just add a comment to this blog in the space below

Let us know if you need us to come get your contributions, we'll be in touch to set a time convenient for you to them pick up.

Thanks in advance.
